PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your information.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

This policy explains what Virtane Global LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to this website and to our recruiting and consulting services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount automatically:

  • Candidate information. Name, contact details, resume or CV, work history, education, certifications and licenses, work authorization status, compensation expectations, references, and anything else you choose to send us.
  • Client and business contact information. Name, title, company, and contact details of people we work with or who inquire about our services.
  • Publicly available professional information. Profiles, publications, and postings that are publicly accessible, used to identify people who may fit a role.
  • Site and message data. Information you submit through our contact form, plus standard technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages visited) which our hosting provider logs.

We do not ask for government identification numbers, financial account details, or health information through this website. If a placement requires that information, it is collected separately through onboarding, not here.

2. How we use it

  • To evaluate you for roles, and to talk with you about opportunities.
  • To present candidates to clients, with the candidate's knowledge.
  • To deliver and administer consulting engagements.
  • To respond to inquiries and keep in touch about relevant openings.
  • To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. Automated tools and human decisions

We use software to help us search, organize, and keep track of candidates and engagements. That includes tools that surface publicly available profiles and help us manage notes and status.

We do not make hiring or submittal decisions by automated means. A person reviews the information and makes the call, and no candidate is advanced or declined solely on the output of a tool.

4. Who we share it with

  • Clients. We share a candidate's information with a prospective employer only after telling the candidate which company and role it is for.
  • Service providers. Hosting, email, applicant tracking, scheduling, background screening, and payroll providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses only what it needs to function, plus basic aggregate analytics to understand which pages get visited. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data. Your browser settings can block cookies; the site will still work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep candidate records while there is a realistic chance we can help you, and for as long as needed to meet legal and recordkeeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your record at any time, and we will unless we are required by law to retain it.

7. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct something that's wrong.
  • Delete your record.
  • Stop contacting you about opportunities.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing — and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Email us and we will handle the request within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent; we may need to verify identity first.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise.

9. Children

Our services are for working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
